Joshua Greene has extensive experience representing bankruptcy debtors in Chapters 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings. He regularly represents debtors, creditors and bankruptcy trustees in all aspects of bankruptcy-related litigation including defending and prosecuting avoidance actions, actions to determine dischargeability of debt, contested motions, and has served as counsel in numerous trials in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
Mr. Greene also defends individuals in state court collection actions, including credit card collection cases, foreclosures, replevin and breach of contract actions.
Mr. Greene graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 2007, where he served as Publications Editor for the DePaul Business and Commercial Law Journal. During law school Mr. Greene served as an Extern for the Honorable Susan Pierson Sonderby, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Mr. Greene is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association and the Commercial Law League of America.
In 2008, Mr. Greene published An Overview of Illinois Post-Judgment Law in the Dupage County Bar Association Magazine: The Brief, and has written numerous case briefs for the CLLA Bankruptcy Section Electronic Newsletter.
